A wedding is a coming together, a blending of two hearts, two
souls. Express your love for each other and your love for nature
with an outdoor wedding in a beautiful and natural riverside
setting.
Close friends and family are encouraged to stay here at the
facility in one of our very comfortable platform tent cabins
along the river's edge, or in one of our self-contained cabins.
The wedding celebration then becomes a weekend event where
friends and family get to spend quality time together.
Often, a wedding can become a huge expense for the bride's
family. Well, surprise! We have found that by sharing our
beautiful retreat with a number of new people, we promote more
wedding, family reunions, company barbeques, workshops, and
private functions. So we can offer our facilities for your
special day at a substantial savings, and create more business
for ourselves! This makes us happy!
Typically guests pay for their own lodging and meals, or the
group potlucks with the use of our kitchen and pay only for
lodging. The wedding party's expense is only the catering and
meal on the wedding day! Renting the facility entitles you the
use of our dishes, silver, table, chairs, kitchen, etc., making
your savings substantial.
We are open for weekend use from May through September. We can
accommodate up to 60 people for lodging (this includes children).
We also rent the facility for one day weekend use with rehearsal
time arranged on a weekday. Or, we rent the facility for Sunday
afternoon from 5PM till 10PM with rehearsal time also to be
arranged on a weekday. Please call and arrange a visit. We are
certain you will fall in love with our beautiful, private piece
of nature.
We can only accommodate thirty cars here at the facility, but our
neighbors at Story Winery two miles away have a large, mowed
field for our use. With the rental of a 15-passenger van, guests
can be shuttled down for the wedding day celebration with a
maximum of 200 guests.
