Whether you belong to a car club, volunteer group, or other
association, the Retreat is a great spot for your get together.
We have a variety of activities
available for your club to enjoy, including hiking, camping,
swimming, fishing, and more!
In addition to fishing and swimming in the Cosumnes river which
flows along the property, guests may inner-tube down the gorge or
play on super fized rafts. A guided nature and historical walk
led by a naturalist is offered to groups, which goes to the upper
swimming hole where you may play on a rope swing.
Our extensive lawn is a perfect place to play games, host a
party, or simply relax in the hammocks set up in the shade along
the river.
Onsite recreation and activities:
Swimming - many private swimming holes and beaches along the
river.
Snorkeling - bring masks for snorkeling and air mattresses
for floating.
Rafting & Innertubing - lots of fun with excellent runs
in May & June. Some innertubes provided; BYO recommended.
Fishing - trout in season, small-mouth black bass and
bluegill all summer long. Bring your own equipment.
Hiking - many miles of hiking trails. Two 900-square foot
decks available for gatherings, dancing, or group meetings.
Large Hot Tub - overlooking the river.
Extensive Lawns - for croquet, volleyball, and sunbathing.
Conveniently located in Sonoma County’s Valley of the Moon,
Westerbeke Ranch is a favorite location for meetings, retreats,
and conferences.
Sonoma Valley Conference CenterLush garden paths, amid native
oaks, lead to congenial shared accommodations and spacious
meetings rooms. Gourmet meals are specially prepared and served
in our beautiful California mission styled dining room, outdoor
patio, or at poolside.
Wildwood, created and sustained by Gay Men, is a sanctuary for
healing, spiritual growth and transformation. It is the mission
of the WWCF to sustainably maintain, grow, foster, and protect
this resource for the benefit of the current community and those
who will inherit our legacy.
Saratoga Springs Retreat Center and Conference Center is nestled
in a private 260-acre pristine valley, in the beautiful rolling
hills of Northern California, 2 1/2 hours west of Sacramento and
2 1/2 hours north of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Our extensive lawn is a perfect place to play games, host a
party, or simply relax. The Cosumnes River flows through the
property and features some great swimming holes, rope swings, and
small rapids.
Spend some time at Rancho Cicada in Amador County and go
swimming, snorkeling, rafting or innertubing. For those
looking to relax a bit more, enjoy our hammocks by the river, or
large hot tub with fantastic views.
